Moonlight doesn’t simply fall on the water here - it moves. Soft layers of blue hold a lit path that shimmers, breaks, and gathers again, as if the sea and sky are sharing a slow, private dance. This is the quiet hour on the coast when everything stills and the light itself feels alive.

Five palms standing tall against a field of pink, their trunks catching gold like they’ve been dressed for the evening. I wanted them to feel a little regal and a little playful at the same time - coastal, but with their own sense of occasion. The kind of trees that make a wall feel like a celebration.

In this piece I let the greens and yellows sit loose and a little wild against a quiet coastal blue - hospitality without the stiff formality. It’s the kind of welcome I want people to feel when they walk into a home: warm, a bit unexpected, and already at ease.

She’s had it. Neck down, feathers still fabulous, taking a long sip like she’s been waiting all day for this. I painted her a little tired and a little glamorous on purpose - because some days the most honest thing a mama can do is put her head down and get what she needs. The funny part is how well we all know that feeling.

The center stays open on purpose - a pale blue path that pulls you forward while color gathers at the edges. Green, a little coral, a flash of pink. I wanted the feeling of moving through something rather than looking at it. Not the destination. The going.

The water is still and the grasses are lit, but the sky is already gathering. I painted that in-between hour on the marsh - when everything looks peaceful and you can feel the change coming just the same. The greens stay bright. The clouds do the rest of the talking.

This one walked in already smiling. Pink swirls, white daisies, and those bright yellow faces all crowded into a simple glass like they had somewhere joyful to be. I kept the background soft and a little textured so the flowers could do the talking - fresh, unfussy, and glad you showed up.

Three shells, each one a little different, lined up like a quiet conversation. I gilded the edges because that’s how the light hits them on the marsh - a flash of gold against all that soft white and pale pink. They feel like small offerings from the coast: imperfect, luminous, and already at home.

They sit shoulder to shoulder, three white forms leaning into one another against that cool mint ground. The gold is only a thin line - just enough to catch the light and keep the eye moving from one shell to the next. I wanted them to feel collected rather than arranged, the way oysters actually live.
