Hey y'all, I'm Dina Deason.
I'm an artist, a lover of beautiful homes, and the creator of Artful Living with Dina. My husband and I make our home on St. Simons Island, Georgia, a place that brings us so much joy and inspires so much of what I do.
I believe a home should be the truest reflection of who you are, filled with the pieces and moments that tell your story. I've always been happiest with my hands in something... a brush, a table being set, a room that needed a little more warmth.

The Art of Home
Artful Living with Dina is a lifestyle channel, but really it's about the art of home: the art of decorating, the art of remodeling, the art of the build. It's the whole journey of a home, from the first idea to the finished room, and the life that happens inside it.
Every week, we open the doors to real houses and the people who live in them. Families. Pets. Gatherings. The designers, builders, and creative folks who bring these spaces to life, and the art that belongs in everyday living.
How It All Began
Starting a YouTube channel had been a plan for a while, and it has evolved beautifully since we began. We tried a lot of different things before we found our footing, and when we did, it was because of the people around me: Sherry, Lauren, and Edwin, a team I love working with.
The best part has been finding people who love what we love... folks who live beautifully and want to share it. We keep growing because there's a whole community out there who believes home is worth celebrating. I'm so glad you're one of them.
The Artist in Me
I paint in watercolors and acrylics, from impressionistic and mixed media to abstract pieces. It's the artist in me that notices the details in every home we tour: the light through a window, a color that makes a room sing, the piece that makes a space feel finished.
I see beauty in everything, from the people I meet to the scenery around me. Art is how I say thank you for it. A painting shouldn't just fill a wall. It should belong there, the way a favorite chair or a well-loved room belongs.
